International Peace Scholarship Opportunity

The International Peace Scholarship (IPS) scholarship provides up to $12,500 for selected international women pursuing graduate degrees.

In 2016-2017, P.E.O. International awarded Xin Shan, an FSU international doctoral student in Industrial Engineering, an IPS award to help her pursue her degree in the U.S. before returning to her home country.

“My goal is to become a full time professor and continue my research on optoelectronics using low-cost semiconductor materials,” Shan said. “P.E.O.’s IPS pays my school and living expenses, which allows me to focus on my research.”

International students interested in applying for the 2018-2019 IPS scholarship may attend an info session on Wednesday, November 15, from 1 – 2 p.m. in Honors, Scholars and Fellows House (HSF), 3009.

Students can find a summary of the scholarship’s eligibility requirements below and a detailed list here.
